We love helping dogs at our local shelters. The sad fact we face is the majority of the dogs we save are Heartworm Positive.In January, we had 14 animals in treatment or have been through treatment for Heartworms. On average the Heartworm Treatment alone is $250. This amount can increase for larger dogs, and does not count all the additional care that they need.
The fee at adoption does not cover the cost of the whole treatment. That’s why we need your help for Helping Hearts Challenge for Mazie’s Mission from February 1st through February 28th! We have set a goal to raise $3500 for the month of February. That is $125 a day and will help with 14 Heartworm treatments! We can only do this with your help.
